executive director
Sherri Doucette is a native of southern California and long-time resident of Dallas, Texas, Sherri studied social work at Clark-Atlanta University, is a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher (RYT200/300MT), reiki practitioner, birth and death doula, wellness champion, speaker and corporate trainer. Sherri is the proud mother of two amazing adult children.
Secretary
Viveca Harrison is a senior certified professional coder and massage therapist. She is a life-long resident of Dallas, Texas, mother of 2 sons, runner and avid cyclist. Viveca has deep ties to her faith community and consistently seeks new opportunities to be of service.
Treasurer
Shalecia Callaway is a native of Dallas, Texas, a wife and mother of 3 daughters. She is a distinguished DISD alum and earned an MBA from Texas A&M Commerce. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Shalecia is Senior Vice President of System Support for Financial Industry Computer Systems (FICS) and the founder & CEO of Savvy QUEENdom(r) LLC, a faith-based consulting company providing public speaking, life-coaching and leadership training.
Board Member
Terry Odis is an architect and poet from Dallas, Texas by way of Chicago, Illinois and alum of Tuskegee University & Hampton University. He has published two books of poetry, is a former director and current board member of Dallas Youth Poets, a youth poetry organization, and a member of Dallas AIA's Columns Committee. Terry is a husband, father of two children, and a teaching artist.
